Fishing Tour 2 Pen Duick II is fitted with a 306hp 6-cylinder turbo charged Volvo, which gives the vessel a top speed of 16 knots and cruise at 10 to 12 knots comfortably. Fitted with television CD player, HF and VHF radios, chart plotter & colour sounder Radar. It's a commercial vessel licensed by the Queensland Department of Transport in 2C survey to carry 12 passengers and 2 crew, within 50 nautical mile range off the coast.
Most of our operating area is in the pristine Marine Park of Moreton Bay stretching from the Hinterland town of Nerang to Caloundra the top end of Pumicestone Passage on the Sunshine Coast over a hundred miles away. This waterway covers 3500 square miles, from mud banks to sandy shoals and a variety of reefs. Pen Duick II is available for charters, to go off shore and calm water fishing, social functions lunches on tranquil or deserted beaches such as, Wavebreak Island in front of the Gold Coast sea way entrance, Jumping Pin Bar on South Stradbroke Island or one of the other 350 islands in Moreton Bay.
